This is a comparison to my previous deviation submitted in 2008. 
2008 vs. 2009. lol. Technically I'm supposed to post the two side-by-side so it's easier to compare. but I feel so proud of this one~ it needed it's own space. So I'll post the combined one later. :3 FULL VIEW PLZ!

Overall Vision Originality Technique Impactaww kaori this is beautiful! i love how the shading and color makes your character stand out against the background. speaking of the bg, i love LOVE the splatter effect. great job there.
one thing i'd like to point out: the eyes. the coloring is fantastic, i love how much the purple stands out. they're very high up on the head though. look at your own face, eyes are halfway down the head. i don't know if u draw with guidelines or not, but it's really helpful for me.
props to you, the wrists look great XDD
again, dun like rating things so 5 stars all around.
